A Week In My Life

 Someone asked me earlier this month what sort of things I work on as a semi-independent science and technology consultant. It's a bit complicated to explain, so instead I thought I would give a list of the projects and tasks I have been involved in in one randomly selected week. So here it goes:

What a Busy Week!

I enjoy so many different things that I have ended up with a diverse range of skills. Normally this would be a good thing - and it really is - but it has ended up with a very busy week for me.

In the last week I have:
  • Held about a dozen 1-on-1 tutoring sessions
  • Held two group tutorials/drop-in sessions - one in physics and one in math
  • Finalized the designs for a new line of greeting cards based on my artwork
  • Proofread the preliminary draft of a new physics textbook for a colleague of mine

More Promotions

I just received the news that my colleagues at Lonrach R&T have been given a donation from an anonymous donor for the purpose of creating a robotics development branch, tentatively called Victus Robotics. As I understand it, this new company will focus on producing circuit designs for robotics components and home or office automation, with some being open source and some being proprietary.

Upgrading Skills
