One year ago today my camera broke, and I had to replace it with a new one.
Today I realized that in that single year, I have taken 6,565 photos with my new camera, and another 3,235 photos with my dSLR camera. That is a total of 9,800 photos in a single year, as well as countless hours of HD video. I might have a problem :(
But then I remember back to when I got my first camera. When I could take 12 photos and then pay $20 to wait a week and discover that they hadn't turned out. Back when you might have to wait a year to see your photos, because the film had to last that long. Maybe the ability to shoot thousands of photos and instantly look at them isn't so bad after all.
And of course in the course of that year was my graduation, an all-too-short vacation, my grandma's funeral and a family reunion, as well as many other events.
So 9,800 photos isn't that bad I guess...
