For the last four years I have been spending my weekends (when I have no other chores) scanning my parent's photo books and negatives. I have photos dating as far back as the early 1800s, right up to modern day. My collection now spans five double density DVDs of scanned photos and around 25 of my own photos. Every time I am just about to finish it, someone finds another book or six. But I have scanned the final photo that I know of, so hopefully there are no more.
Of course I have said that before, and so far each time I have been wrong. But I suppose I should be happy to have such a wealth of family history. And if anyone needs a copy, just let me know.
I am a physicist recently graduated from the University of Victoria, with a doctorate in theoretical physics. I also have training in mathematics, engineering and computer programming.
