December 24, 2019 - It is with some measure of pride that I announce today that my website has just past 50,000 unique views! I never actually thought anyone would be interested in my random collection of interesting bits and pieces from my life, but apparently they are. Thank you to all of my friends and supporters, and to everyone who has paid me a visit over the last decade.
December 10, 2019 - I have been getting
a few questions regarding the status of Intergalactic Visuals, the rendering company that I work with in various capacities, and so I thought I should give some updates. The company is still active, but the online presence was handled by IslandHosting, which seems to be having serious issues right now. I contacted them on November 1 regarding the missing websites and the licenses that they seem to have let expire, but I still have not gotten a proper response from them. I do not know what is happening at this point, but I will give updates as I receive them.
December 3, 2019 - As many of you know, I have been active as a volunteer with the Zooniverse Project almost since it began a decade ago, and have been a proponent of citizen science projects even before that. Now to celebrate the success of the Zooniverse group, which includes over 160 professional research papers published in leading peer reviewed journals, the team that operates it has released a commemorative book. The electronic copy can be downloaded for free at
this website, and hard copies can be purchased from the main website. Congratulations for a decade of amazing scientific advancement, and let us hope to be celebrating again in another ten!
November 18, 2019 - A quick update today on the state of my mobile website, which has been down since the end of October. I am still working with the hosting company to find the cause of the outage, but as yet they have not been able to track it down. I do not know at this point if they had a limited equipment or software failure, or if this was another targeted attack directed solely at my website. In the interim, my full website is still operational and I have started work on constructing a new mobile website on an alternative hosting server. Thank you for your continued patience.

October 25, 2019 - With the arrival of Halloween next week, I have once again had inquiries into my pumpkin artwork and photography. For those who are interested, two great sources of patterns and templates are PumpkinGlow and Zombie Pumpkins. I have had a lot of success in past years with their designs (interested viewers can see my own artwork from 2001-2005,2005-2011, and 2012-2018. Some of these are based on Zombie designs, while others are my own original designs).
